No doubt we made big mess in pursuit of this shot! It was shot in the Dendy, a beautiful and ornate Brisbane cinema that is over 100 years old. Sadly it is going to be demolished next year to make way for a multi story concrete monstrosity. The owners had tried to get the building heritage listed but infuriatingly to no avail.

This is brilliant! would you mind if i used it in my ICT work? We are making a powerpoint presentation that would act as an interactive movie guide? It would only be seen by me, my classmates , teachers and an examiner

I am re-opening the Dendy under the name Tribal Theatre! The date is set for 25th Jan!

Well I thought this one would get a lot more attention too because HELL, flying popcorn is cool, dan's expression is priceless and it's in a cinema. You don't see a photo of that everyday! But then again it doesn't really show that so well in the thumbnail/preview. So I don't know if it's due to that :shrug:

But yes I wholeheartedly agree it's a fantastic concept (a stroke of genius on the photographer's part) and I loved doing it. I think it took about 8 or more tries to get this shot right :D
